What is a society visitor management system?
It is software that replaces the paper register at your gate. Every visitor, delivery agent and vehicle is recorded digitally, residents approve entries from their phone, and the management committee gets a searchable log of who entered and left the premises.
How does VeiloScan verify resident vehicles at the gate?
Each resident vehicle carries a VeiloScan QR sticker. The guard scans it from the guard app and instantly sees whether the vehicle belongs to the society, which flat it maps to, and whether entry is permitted — then marks entry or exit in one tap.
How do residents let guests in?
A resident generates a short visitor code in the app and shares it with the guest. The guard enters that code at the gate to verify and admit the visitor. Guards can also record walk-in guests manually when no code was issued.
Does the guard app work if the internet at the gate goes down?
Yes. The guard app keeps an encrypted offline copy of the resident directory, so verification and entry marking continue during an outage and sync back once connectivity returns.
How long does it take to set up VeiloScan in a society?
Most societies are live within a week: the admin panel is configured with flats and residents, QR stickers are distributed to resident vehicles, and guards are onboarded with a pairing code issued by the society admin.
Is resident data safe?
Resident contact details are never exposed to visitors or to other residents. Communication is routed through VeiloScan, offline caches are encrypted on the device, and access is scoped to the role — guard, resident or society admin.
